Chicago-based artist Vicki McGrath brings over 20 years of daily painting practice to her vibrant gouache and acrylic works. Self-taught and passionate since childhood, Vicki specializes in still life, transforming everyday objects—fruits, flowers, animals—into bold, colorful compositions.
Her Modern Impressionistic style is defined by minimal brushstrokes, dynamic light and shadow, and a striking palette that brings energy and joy to each piece. Collectors worldwide treasure her art, which is also featured on Trader Joe’s greeting cards and in Serena & Lily design shops across the U.S.

Kari Stober has been an integral part of the Streamline Publishing team for 13 years, bringing her expertise and passion to the world of art marketing.
She is the Marketing Project Manager, the PleinAir Salon Art Competition manager, the Pastel Today Community Ambassador, and the co-host of the Pastel Podcast.
Kari is a journalist by trade, and she's an artist by choice.
She's been painting in pastels for over 10 years, and has recently broadened to gouache and acrylic.
